CHANNEL YOUR PASSION! OnMedia, the Advertising Sales Division of Mediacom Communications Corporation, is currently looking to fill the following positions:
Account Executive (1) Gulf Breeze, FL; (1) Columbia, MO; (1) Orange Beach, AL: Responsible for selling commercial time and other new products as they are developed while maintaining a professional image and obtaining customer satisfaction. Prefer Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience and one to three years cable, broadcast (or other media) direct sales experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient with computer software and technology.
Director of Sales (1) Springfield, MO : Responsible for providing direction/supervision for all ad sales related activities within the assigned DMA(s) and will ensure individual sales representatives achieve assigned sales objective and budgets. Prefer Bachelor's degree in a Sales & Marketing or related discipline; five to ten years media sales experience, with minimum of two years in a supervisor or management role; a history of entrepreneurial activity for self or previous employers; experience at building local revenue programs; experience with both ad agency and direct sales strategies and tactics; ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues; ability to motivate others; excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Part-time Temporary Sales Assistant (1) Des Moines, IA : Responsible for advertising sales department's proposals, network information, tracking and reporting all weekly and end of month numbers, projections, updating inventory reports and answering incoming calls as a company representative. Prefer high school diploma or equivalent and one to two years general office/clerical experience. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and proficient with typing and computer skills.
